James Baroz is a visual artist whose work engages with relational archives and the world's natural laws of physics to examine how phenomena and curiosity intersect, developing methodologies that deepen our sensitivity to the world around us. He holds a BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago (2022) and an MFA in Photography from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2025). At SAIC, he was awarded the James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship (2025). Publications include A24, Dazed, and SPOTZ
